South West Tour

The pleasures of the great south west of Western Australia are too much for any visitor to resist.

So we’ve planned a little extra excitement for rally participants who want to stay a little longer. Join us on a driving tour of Western Australia’s renowned wine and food regions.

The South-West Tour package is $695 per couple or twin share and includes all accommodation including breakfast. Participants will select their own venues for other meals and activities.

Tuesday 27 April 2010
Depart Rally HQ and travel to Bunbury; on route visiting the Dardanup Heritage Park and Ferguson Valley.  Overnight stay in Bunbury.

Wednesday 28 April 2010
Depart the hotel for dolphin viewing at Koombana Bay, followed by a drive to Margaret River via Cape Naturaliste, Caves Road and its famous wineries; lunch to be held on route in Dunsborough. Accommodation for two successive nights in Margaret River itself.

Thursday 29 April 2010
A flexible, free time day; suggested activities are drives to Augusta taking in Jewel Cave and Conti Beach with walks along the coast or a drive north taking in some of the gastronomic delights of the region.

Friday 30 April 2010
Depart Margaret River for a drive to Bridgetown via the beautiful Nannup/Bailingup region, with its winding roads and tall trees. Overnight stay in Bridgetown.

Saturday 01 May 2010
Depart Bridgetown for the return drive to Perth via Manjimup, including a visit to the Manjimup timber museum.
Evening arrival in Perth.

Please note:
The tour is programmed to suit couples or adult groups. A preliminary limit has been set at 30 couples so please register your interest early. The tour may be varied to suit a larger travelling party if necessary. Twin share accommodation is possible. Participants wishing to join this tour with accompanying children or family groups please contact us so we can ensure your requirements can be catered for.
