The Mercedes-Benz Car Club of Western Australia is keen for interstate participants to bring their vehicles to Perth for Rally 2010. To assist with the cost of vehicle transport two opportunities are available to you.

Transport Subsidy

The MBCCWA will offer the opportunity for you to register to receive a $750 subsidy toward the cost of transporting your vehicle(s). The subsidy is offered to up to 20 vehicles only, with only one subsidy per vehicle permitted i.e. two people who register separately but travel in one car cannot each receive the subsidy.

Registrations for Rally 2010 will be collected through this website. When registering for the rally you can indicate you would like to receive the subsidy. As each registration is completed it is date and time stamped by the registration system. The subsidy will be granted to the first 15 registrants who request the subsidy as identified by the date and time in the system.

On completion of registration you will receive advice of your status with respect to the subsidy i.e. your position in the list. If you subsequently do not attend the rally, or you attend but you do not transport a vehicle to Perth, then you are no longer eligible for the subsidy and it will be granted to the next eligible person. The subsidy will be paid in the form of a cheque reimbursement at the commencement of the rally, that is when you register in person at Rally HQ on Friday 23 April 2010.

The following policies apply to the subsidy:
1. Up to 15 subsidies of $750 each will be offered
2. A maximum of 1 x $750 will be paid per vehicle
3. The vehicle must be transported from a point of origin outside WA either by (any) carrier or driven
4. The vehicle must be a qualifying rally vehicle i.e. a Mercedes-Benz or smart
5. International attendees are not eligible

Special Transport Offer from Toll Autologistics - Principle Sponsor of Rally 2010

Toll Autologistics have offered special transport pricing for Rally 2010. Toll Autologistics is the national carrier for Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific, and we are pleased to have their sponsorship for our event. The special pricing is offered to all rally participants in one or both directions of travel, and is independent of the transport subsidy offered by the MBCCWA.

The pricing offered for passenger vehicles is as shown in the following table. Toll Autologistics have also offered special pricing for light vehicles. If you require these details please email the rally committee.

All prices are inclusive of GST

These prices represent a saving of approximately 40% compared with 2009 full price transport costs, and Toll Autologistics will hold these prices until 2010. If you want to take advantage of this offer from Toll Autologistics please note the following:

* Vehicles will take up to two weeks for delivery in each direction; therefore if shipping to Western Australia you will need to deliver your vehicle to the nominated Toll Autologistics depot in your state at least two weeks prior to the arrival date in Perth

* These prices are “depot-to-depot”. The MBCCWA is negotiating a central delivery point near Rally HQ for transported vehicles; an additional cost of $50 per vehicle will apply for delivery to that point if desired

* Vehicles can be shipped at these special prices before and after the rally; participants taking tours before and after the rally will still be eligible

* All vehicles that are registered for participation in Rally 2010 are eligible; MBCCWA will provide to Toll Autologistics the details of vehicles registered to validate transport bookings

* Details of how to book transport will be provided after January 2010; booking will be via a central contact at Toll Autologistics

* Toll Autologistics terms and conditions of transport will be provided to registrants as part of the registration paperwork
