Check into Rally HQ and register. Greet friends or stretch your traveller’s legs with a walk along the Swan River…even a round of golf if you wish.

Evening
Enjoy cocktails followed by a formal dinner in the luxury of a grand ballroom as we open the 2010 National Rally.

Perth’s beautiful Swan Valley is only a 20 minute drive from Rally HQ. However, it may as well be a world away as you leave the bustle of the city and enter the tranquil, grapevine filled vista of this delightful region. The Swan Valley will be the destination for our motorkhana day, and in itself also provides visitors to Western Australia and locals alike with an opportunity to enjoy the region’s renowned food and wine.

Daytime
The Mercedes-Benz Car Club of WA has a long history of supporting the Red Cross in driving war veterans in the annual Anzac Day Parade in Perth.

Rally guests can participate in the parade in one of two ways:

1. 1. As a spectator, or
2. 2. Join the team of drivers

Later in the morning, the rally display of Mercedes-Benz vehicles will be held in the city. Mercedes-Benz and smart vehicles are eligible for display, and will begin assembling at the display location from 9.30am. The display day includes lunch for all rally attendees and Mercedes-Benz club members.

This event will be the time for rally goers to vote for best car in rally, and other similar acknowledgements, the results of which will be announced at the rally closing dinner on Monday night.

Evening
Perth is known for its crisp, bright coastline. How does dinner watching the sun go down over the water sound? Yes, we thought you might find that attractive.

Perth has an abundance of great coastal restaurants with fine cuisine, lively ambience and that fantastic WA coastline as a natural feature. Rally goers who register for our full rally package will receive a voucher towards dinner at selected coastal restaurants.

Daytime
The town of New Norcia is a rare and beautiful treat for visitors and sandgropers alike. It is a surprising place to visit, not least of which because nestled in the Australian bush, it is a monastery town with elegant European architecture, a fine museum, and a collection of Renaissance art.

New Norcia is a two hour drive north from Perth and is a Benedictine monastery community established in 1846. During our day at New Norcia we will have a private guided tour of the townsite, lunch locally at the New Norcia Hotel, peruse the museum and join the Benedictine monks for prayers before returning to Perth.

Evening
The Mount Lawley Gold Club has been the chosen venue for our annual President’s Dinner for several years.

Situated on beautiful grounds, the well appointed clubrooms are a first class venue for our concluding dinner for Rally 2010. You will enjoy a first class three course meal while recapping the rally, congratulating acknowledged participants in the rally and soaking up the occaision.
