Registration

Registrations for Rally 2010 opened at 12 noon Australian Western Standard Time on Saturday 1 August 2009.

Who Can Register
All registrants must be a current member of a recognized Mercedes-Benz car club. Registrants may be accompanied by guests who are not current members. Registrants not members can submit a registration form, and will then be contacted by their local club to complete application for membership.

To be considered registered the club member must purchase a minimum package, which is:
* For Western Australians – at least one event
* For all others – Full Rally Package – Couple or Full Rally Package - Single

Australian registrants are eligible for the transport subsidy and special accommodation pricing. New Zealand registrants are eligible for the special accommodation pricing. Other international registrants are not eligible for these offers.

How to Register
Registration is preferred via this website.

To register you will need to be ready to enter the following information:
* Your name, guest name and your contact details including an email address
* Your Club membership details i.e. state and membership reference or number
* The details of the Mercedes-Benz or smart vehicle(s) entering the rally
* The packages or events you are registering for
* Your accommodation requirements
* Your option requirements - e.g. transport subsidy application, registration for the ANZAC Day Parade
* Special dietary, accommodation or special package needs e.g. family packages


A paper-based registration form is available by pressing the download button, or from your Club Coordinator. If you are able to answer the questions on that form, then you will be ready to register online. If you do not have Internet access or are unsure about registering online, ask a friend or family member, or your Club Coordinator for assistance. Postal registrations will be recorded as received at 12 noon AWST on the date they are received.

After you Register Online
1. All registrations are time and date stamped. That information is used to identify those registrations eligible for any special pricing or subsidies offered on a first come-first served basis.
2. You will receive a registration confirmation to the email address you nominate.
3. Your payment will be processed:
- immediately for online registrations paid by credit card through Paypal
- the next working day for registrations by Australia Post paid by credit card
- payments by cheque must be received within 10 working days from the date of registration
- payments by direct deposit must be received within 5 working days from the date of registration
4. If your payment is not received within the timeframe indicated, your registration will be held open. However, your position in the sequence of registrations will be lost and any subsidies or special pricing may no longer be available to you.
5. Registrants who are unable to make full payment immediately can contact the Rally Committee to make special arrangements.

Cancellation Policy
1. Up to 31 December 2009 100% refund
2. From 1 January 2010 cancellation fee calculated based on:

  • a. 50% of any rally package, SW tour and event costs selected
  • b. 100% of accommodation at Rally HQ, except under point 3.

3. From 8 February 2010 if the cancellation results in cancellation of accommodation at Rally HQ then any cancellation costs incurred by MBCCWA will also be deducted from the refund.
4. The MBCCWA will refund for compassionate reasons for cancellations i.e. in the event of serious illness or death within the immediate family. In those instances only direct costs to the MBCCWA (e.g. as per point 3.) will be deducted from any refund.
5. The MBCCWA recommends all registrants take out travel insurance to provide options for recovery of cancellation fees if incurred.
